The nose is marked by sea hints with some meat touches (leather) and a smokey background.
In the palate, the typical violet taste of Bowmore dominates other salty and smokey flavours .
A lingering and pleasant, but dry finish.
2006The nose evokes the smells of undergrowth by the sea. Vegetal hits mixed with iodine sea air.
The palate is dominated by the salt, and some violet hints appear on the background. The taste is first rather plain, but gets quickly more complex.
The finish is long and very pleasant.
2004This marvelous version of Bowmore, aged 15 is absolutely delicious. All the specific hints of Bowmore are immediately recognized: peat, smoke and this little violet fragrance. Probably one of the best bottlings of the distillery, and quite nice priced. A must in every collection.
