Very nice oily peat, smoke, sea spray, undergrowth and wet hay. This is definitely a nose for peat lovers. Nice complexity, just like great Islay malts ought ot be.
In the palate, peat is dominant as well, harmoniously mixed with nice slightly woody notes, dome fruit (plum jam), some sherry.
The finish is rather long with peat and barbecue ash as main characteristics.
