Mars est fini et c'est le moment d'un petit bilan mensuel.
Pour moi une petite soirée bien réussie avec au moins les six premières places mensuelles. Je vais me limiter à deux es-aequo de la même année de distillation et de la même île.
Pour le bas du podium rien de vraiment mauvais. Un whisky que j'ai pas aimé lors des WDTS pourrait être cité mais puisque la publication n'a pas encore eu lieu ...

Le mois de Mars a été très calme côté dégustation pour ma part. Je retiens surtout l'Auchroisk 1990-2013 WF goûté blind lors de la soirée Pure Spirit. J'en ai une bouteille déjà ouverte et cette soirée a bien confirmé le coup de coeur pour ce whisky original.

Ah ben, si chef Gérard autorise le ex-aequos, ça va être plus facile, du coup.
Pour ma part, dégusté (et acheté ) beaucoup de chose le mois dernier. Aucune hésitation pour le moins bon ave ce pauvre Mac Dugan 8yo 1976 40% 75cl dégradé surtout en bouche par une mauvais OBE et qui sauve le même Glen Keith que ptidadou de ce bonnet d'âne.
Par contre, pour la première place du podium, y'a bataille à trois. En pure plaisir, celui qui m'a le plus ravis est le Clynelish W.I.N. FIrst Cask 17yo 54%, 08/10/1996 - 04/11/2013, Re-Rack Sherry Hogshead #8800, 253 Bottles. Pour la dégustation, celui qui m'a le plus bluffé, c'est le Port Ellen Scott's selection 1976 58% goûté à la dernière soirée Rare&Collectors. Et entre les deux, comment ne pas citer le bluffant Lagavulin 16 ans "White Horse" - 43% goûté lors de cette même soirée ?

Le mois prochain tu fais Bowmore 64, Springbank Samaroli et Brora 72 RM ?

J'ai bu le Springbank Samaroli plusieurs fois. C'est très très bon mais ce n'est pas un whisky qui me fait vraiment voyager. J'ai eu la chance de gouter une fois le Brora 72 58,7 et une fois le 61.1%. C'est effectivement phénoménal et ça explose carément les 30 ans également légendaires de 2003, 2004 et 2005.
Jamais encore bu de Bowmore 64. Mais pour ce genre de Bowmore on a cthulhu comme candidat
