je suis en train de D E G U S T E R une moitié de la mignonette de mon lot de 6 :
Le Strathisla 37 ans 1967-2004 (47.6% - Duncan Taylor - #1332)

c'est une tuerie !

superbe !

couleur :
or profond - rosé a reflets dorés
nez :
wouah ! un truc d'apiculteur. ça sent la cire, le miel, la gelée royale ! il ya aussi la colle a bois, du fruits sec (noisette, pécan), un léger boisé genre coffre du grenier ... petit côté "pledge" (le produit pour dépoussierer-lustrer les vieux meubles). C'est ample, chaud, gourmand.
bouche :
ample, très ample, ça te tapisse les papilles. ouf. que c'est bon. toujours chez Maya, bonbon au miel épicé. en retro olfaction un peu de wine gum cassis. léger boisé. impression d'amplitude, d'harmonie et de bon miam miam. vraiment top.
finale :
s'éteint assez vite (mais au vu du coup de boost en bouche c'est pas trop étonnant), en laissant une sympatique saveur cireuse et fruitée et donnant surtout envie de s'y replonger rapidos

après lecture de la dégust faite par Serge sur cet échantillon, j'ai trouvé ce truc que j'arrivais pas a définir ... l'eucalyptus ! trop fort Serge que j'dis.

c'est tout a fait ça, au nez c'est eucalyptus !
j'avais jamais pensé à ça, et maintenant je me dis qu'il doit y avoir quelques whiskies que j'ai dégusté qui avaient ce côté là.

Au fait pour parfaire mon vocabulaire de dégustation, est ce que quelqu'un aurait une listes des différents phénols que l'ont peut trouver dans le whisky avec description de leur nez ? j'arrive pas a en trouver une sur le net.

Déjà une deuxième commande se profile, tant je trouve ça un super moyen de découverte :

Avec cette fois ci une sélection faite a partir du critère "90 points au moins chez Serge", un critère qui vaut ce qui vaut ... ahahaha mais qui me convient parfaitement :

bref, pour le moment j'ai très envie de découvrir des whiskies agés en version indépendantes sans pour autant acquérir des douzaines de bouteilles, et il me semble que les mignonettes et petites bouteilles sont un excellent moyen pour ça.

Merci c'est en effet un superbe manière de déguster de belles choses.
Par contre, vu la petite taille du flacon les w évoluent t'il plus vite que dans une bouteille normal ?
